About the Shop

Common Beat Music is a brick and mortar music shop located at 4916 Baltimore Ave in West Philadelphia, between 49th and 50th Streets, next to Cedar Park Cafe, and conveniently half a block from the 34 Trolley stop. There is also plenty of free parking nearby, both on Baltimore Ave. and half a block above us on Catherine Street.

We specialize in a large selection of vinyl records and musician supplies such as strings, cables, drum sticks and more, coupled with a full instrument and electronics repair service. We buy used records and audio & musician gear 5 days a week (Monday through Friday). You can also drop items off for appraisal on weekends, but note we won’t be able to look at them until the business week.
