About Us

WHO WE ARE:

Common Beat Music is a brick and mortar music shop located at 4916 Baltimore Ave in West Philadelphia, between 49th and 50th Streets, next to Cedar Park Cafe, and conveniently half a block from the 34 Trolley stop. There is also plenty of free parking nearby, both on Baltimore ave and half a block above us on Catherine Street.

We specialize in a large selection of vinyl records and musician supplies such as strings, cables, drum sticks and more, coupled with a full instrument and electronics repair service. We buy used records and audio & musician gear 5 days a week (Tuesday through Saturday) or by appointment. Please contact us by phone or email here for more info.

OUR HOURS ARE:

Sunday thru Wednesday: 12 noon - 5pm

Thursday thru Saturday: 12 noon - 6pm

REPAIR SERVICE:
We repair and service musical equipment like guitar amps, turntables, receivers, guitars, DJ equipment, guitar pedals, pro audio, and whatever else you can think of. For more info and rates, please click here. 

DJ RENTAL:

We offer a pair of tuned-up and ready to go Technics 1200 turntables and a Rane TTM52 2 Channel DJ Mixer for daily rentals here.
